Savor Oregon Cookbook
The Savor cookbooks feature the best restaurants in each state and
their signature recipes, along with their history and current dining
hours. Blanche and I have always enjoyed great cuisine. We personally
travel around each of the states, visit the restaurants, inns and lodges,
and meet with the owners and chefs and dine at their restaurants. We
personally select all of the restaurants and invited them to be featured
in our Savor cookbooks. We also browse the museums for historical photos
of the cities and states. Each cookbook contains 125 or more recipes many
of which are wild game and fish recipes. There is a map of the state in
front of the book showing the location of each restaurant. The Savor
cookbooks make great gifts and are very helpful when planning a trip
to the area. They also contain some of the best recipes in the country.
Chuck and Blanche Johnson liked what they found in Oregon’s top restaurants, and now they have shared it in ‘Savor Oregon Cookbook’. And they’ve done it well and with class.
…brings attention to many of Oregon’s best culinary experiences. In addition to the restaurants and recipes, the book also serves as a travel guide to the state. It makes Oregon look good, and taste good as well.
